Downtown Pleasanton

On Friday night Josh Tyler and I took a drive and decided to walk down town Pleasanton. There was some Christmas shopping thing going on. We looked at the lights and Santa was there at a new second hand children's shop. We waited in line for about half an hour to Santa. I was a bit nervous since when we saw the Easter Bunny Tyler had a complete melt down didn't want to have to do with him. I also know that its not even Thanksgiving but it was a good pic and I have to take what I can. We have been watching some Christmas movies with Santa and trying to prep him for it. Well he was a little shy to him, but warmed up to him when he gave him a candy cane. Go figure give the kid candy and he is happy. Since Friday he has been talking about Santa. It was a relaxing evening for the 3 of us.

Halloween

Josh and I went to a Halloween party on Saturday night in San Francisco. It was a lot of fun getting dressed up and just having a night as a couple. We had a blast dancing ,having a couple cocktails and just enjoying one another.

Playing at the new park

The park is right behind our condo complex, it was suppose to open in July and actually was opened a week ago. Its not very big but it gets Tyler's park fix and I don't have to go very far when we are on a time schedule. We had nice time trying all the new stuff they have.

Growing up so fast

Tyler and I have a routine I jog for awhile then we make our way to the park so he can play. Tyler loves to play on the slide, climb the rope ladder and the rock wall thing. On Friday he ran to the "big boy Swing" and wanted to climb on. I sat him on it and told him hold on tight. I pushed him softly at first then he wanted to go faster. He wants to be just like the big kids. I tell him he is only two but that doesn't seem to stop him.

No Fear Tyler

Sorry its been forever. Tax Season took me away. But we are back and I promise to be active in updating. Soooo I wanted to share with you all Tyler's big accomplishments. I just found out today that he climbed out of the pack and play and is now not able to be confined. I knew that day was coming but I was hoping it happened after I had him napping on a regular bed. But no. Josh and I bought a climber for him to have at my parents house and this weekend he had fun climbing and sliding. I have included some pictures from this weekend. My mother just called and said he thinks its more fun if you slide on your tummy. We definitely have a boy on our hands and nothing is safe.

Tyler's new activity

In the last couple weeks Tyler new thing is to grab books and take them to his papazan chair. He throws the books in the chair and climbs up into it and opens and shuts them. To his standards he reads them then laughs and shuts them again. He doesn't really like to sit and listen to me read them, but would rather me sit and listen to him tell the story. I guess its the age, everything seems to be "Mommy I do it"!

Happy New Year

Hello Everyone !!!

Well today I finally took the time to set up a blog for our little family. I personally have been doing the myspace thing, but I thought I would be an adult and have a more mature place where we can together update our friends and family on the comings and goings of us.

Josh is doing great. He is still at Richert Lumber and working real hard, he pretty much is their floater. Whenever they need someone to fill in or help out they move him there. I think he enjoys that because everyday is something different.

I'm doing well. I am still at the CPA firm this is going on my 8th year with the firm. I'm about to go back to work full time through tax season. It's going to be hard not being with Tyler, but I know that I am very lucky to have employers that allow me to work part time when its not so busy.

As for our Tyler he is Great. He gives us a run for our money everyday. As a 19 month old boy he is running, jumping , climbing and getting into everything he isn't supposed to.
